Noah Foutz is an award-winning composer and the founder of North Coast Scoring, a Cleveland-based scoring studio dedicated to creating cinematic and emotionally driven music for film, games, and visual media. His work blends classical rigor with contemporary storytelling, shaped by a lifetime of composing and a deep background as both a classically trained musician and versatile performer.
His scores have earned recognition across film and media festivals, including a 2023 Ohio Valley Regional Emmy for CRESCENDO, the Bain Murray Award for Composition, top honors from the American College of Musicians and the National Federation of Music Clubs, an international finalist citation in the Walter Hussey Composition Contest, and the Best Original Score award at the 2024 Cleveland 48 Hour Film Project.
A graduate of Cleveland State University’s Music Composition program, Noah studied piano with Grammy Award-winning Dr. Angelin Chang and the Cleveland Orchestra's Joela Jones. He has collaborated with filmmakers, game studios, and creative teams of all sizes, bringing a clear and thoughtful scoring process to every project. His approach centers on understanding the heart of the story, developing themes that enhance the emotional arc, and delivering polished music that supports the final cut.
